Today we went to the FANTASTIC new stage school thats just opened across the road from us (literally)...is`nt that fantastic ??? Aideen has goten into the singing lesson classes (beginning in Sept) and Daisy, although only 2 was taken for the junior classes...the girls, Grainne and Jennifer , (manager and ballet teacher) were SO impressed with Daisys natural "dramatic personality" that shes starting classes with Aideen in September !!!! Normally we dont go in for this kind of thing , but Aideen is getting to the age now where singing into the hairbrush just isnt enough and we all sat down and discussed it , and by cutting some pocket money and a few other bits , we can afford to send the kids to the girls...both Sean and myself really got a good feeling from the girls , they truly are in this because they want to do it , they have a pssion for it and both the kids loved them , I know they`re going to get on great...so whether the kids end up singing at family gatherings or on broadway...(we`re proud of them anyway) ...watch this space ! ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! I have always been selective about what extra activities the kids do after seeing the effects that doing too much has on other families we know. You're right to go with something they clearly have a natural desire for!
