New hair cut !!!

Aideen decided she has had enough of knotted long hair, so it was off to the hairdressers where she models and they gave her a funky tomboy look...she is thrilled with it ! As you can see Daisy had to have her hair done too, a clip that stayed in for about 10 seconds, but it was good while it lasted !

One man and his dog :) Sean is the only one strong enough to hold onto Oscar who for a puppy is strong...today he made the mistake of letting Oscar off for a run...and ended up running after the dog himself ! All myself and Aideen could do was laugh...Oscar thought it was a great game...by the time Sean did get Oscar back onto the lead they both were out of puff !

I really like the photo of the white feather on the stalk of grass...the second I saw it , it reminded me of the lines: "Every single blade of grass has its own angel bending over it whispering`Grow,Grow`."

NEW YORK CITY memories of 2006

I thought Id managed to get a tan till I stood between Johanna and Cathleen :) Oh this Irish skin !!!!

It was one of the hottest summers in NYC ever, all the lights were off at night except for the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty so as to act as a guide for the planes ! I never ate so much ice in my life...

Dinne out everynight, by the end of the 10 days I got used to giving the right tip and asking for a doggybag !

Easter Sunday 2009

Well, what a day...I HAD planned to spent the day with the kids at Annahs and we were going to head to Castletown...BUT...I woke this morning and my throat was like ughhh (honestly Im not making anymore plans !) The guys, ie: Sean and Michael were off fishing with their stew, apple crumble, etc that Id made last night and had promised to bring me home a stone or something from the beach (I just love anything like that!)

So, Aideen was home from her sleepover, (had a ball) and I in my infinite wisdom decided to bring the kids and Oscar for a walk down the avenue to keep their minds off their "missing" dad...to say it was an experience...I came back scratched from briars and dog, with a bag of sticks wed picked for the fire and also had taken soem pics for some tourists with their camera ...yeah it was worth it...but Im still sucking honey for the throat and wondering when, oh when am I going to get to Castletown ???
